About TCCC

The Technical Committee on Computer Communications (TCCC) of the IEEE Computer Society (CS) promotes activities, offers the information exchange, and stimulates the growth of those systems that integrate communications features with computer systems. The TCCC sponsors not only the traditional series of local and metropolitan area networks, but it sponsors world-wide applicable communication protocols and systems, all the way up to layer 4 plus dedicated application support. On an annual basis, TCCC sponsors several conferences and workshops, including its flagship conference, the IEEE Conference on Local Computer Networks (LCN).
