in cooperation with the Institute for Parallel and Distributed Systems (IPVS)
GI FB SYS Fall Meeting 2024
The Fachgruppen "Betriebssysteme" and "Kommunikation und Verteilte Systeme" resemble the two constituting groups of the Fachbereich Systems in the GI. Here, researchers in Germany discuss and exchange ideas as well as report to the GI which is a hub to the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft, Fakultätentag Informatik as well as to politics. But mostly, the Fachgruppen are organizing Summer- and Winterschools, workshops and regular meetings. Members enjoy talking about research, teaching, and exchange best practices. As such, this offers the opportunity for an informal exchange. Traditionally, this is also a base for researchers in early career stages to connect to other researchers and get advice on bootstrapping their own research groups.
With a growing number of international colleagues in Germany we are changing the language of our meetings to English in order to welcome everybody to our meeting.
The event will be held on Campus Vaihingen, University of Stuttgart in the Computer Science Building, Ground Floor, Universitätsstraße 38, 70569 Stuttgart.
